1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture (if available) from your provider.
- Onboarding answers: Optional details you choose to share — gender, country, age group, fashion preferences, style goals, and where you heard about Guggi AI.
- Photos: Images you capture or upload for outfit analysis, Quick Check, Style Duel, or Color Thief.
- Analysis context: Occasion, vibe, budget, event description, and similar inputs you provide for a given analysis.
- Support messages: Information you send when contacting support@guggiai.com.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Number of analyses, features used (Quick Check, Style Duel, Color Thief), and limits consumed within your billing cycle. You can opt out of anonymous usage event collection at any time in Profile → Opt out of analytics.
- Device and diagnostic data: App version, operating system version, device model, language, and crash reports.
- Subscription data: Active tier, renewal status, and purchase history, received from Google Play, the App Store, or RevenueCat.
1.3 What we do NOT collect
- We do not access your photo library beyond images you explicitly select.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not collect contacts, calendar, or microphone data.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide outfit analysis and personalized style feedback;
- Maintain your account, sign-in, and analysis history;
- Process subscriptions and enforce tier limits;
- Customize the experience based on your onboarding choices (e.g., country-based pricing);
- Diagnose crashes and improve app reliability;
- Respond to support requests;
- Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your photos or personal data to deliver advertising, and we do not sell your data.
4. AI processing of your photos
Guggi AI uses Anthropic's Claude AI to analyze your photos. When you request an analysis:
- Your image is sent securely to our backend, then to Anthropic's API for analysis.
- The AI returns a structured response (scores, breakdowns, suggestions) which we store with your analysis history.
- Your images are not used to train Anthropic's or any third party's AI models.
- Your images are not shared with other Guggi AI users.
Analysis results are generated by AI and intended as supportive style suggestions. They are not professional advice and may contain errors. Always use your own judgment.
5. Camera and photo library access
Guggi AI requests permission to access your camera and photo library so you can capture or select images for analysis. We only access photos you explicitly choose. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings — though some features will stop working without them.
6. Payments and subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). We do not receive or store your payment card details. RevenueCat receives a tokenized purchase receipt that we use to verify your subscription tier. See your platform's policies for refund procedures.
7. Data retention
- Account & analysis data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Diagnostic data: Crash logs retained up to 90 days.
- Backups: May persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion before being purged.
- Legal records: Limited records (e.g., billing receipts, fraud signals) may be retained longer where required by law.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest on managed cloud providers, OAuth-based authentication, row-level security on user data, and secure token storage on-device. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your data safe.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update inaccurate information (e.g., onboarding answers).
- Deletion: Open the Guggi AI app → Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, analyses, and uploaded photos. You can also email support@guggiai.com.
- Export: Request a copy of your analysis history by emailing support.
- Opt out of analytics: Open the Guggi AI app → Profile → toggle Opt out of analytics. This disables anonymous usage event collection. Your analyses, photos, and personal data are never affected by this setting.
- Withdraw consent: Sign out and uninstall, or delete your account.
- Object / restrict processing: Where applicable under GDPR or similar laws.
10. Children's privacy
Guggi AI is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact support@guggiai.com and we will delete it. Users aged 13–17 should use Guggi AI only with parent or guardian consent.
11. International users and data transfers
Guggi AI is operated from India and may transfer your data to service providers in other countries (including the United States and the European Union). By using Guggi AI, you consent to these transfers. We rely on standard contractual clauses and provider-level safeguards where applicable.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Guggi AI after an update means you accept the revised policy.
